August 18: 6th Grade (& newly enrolled 7th and 8th graders) Orientation, 9:00 am – 12:45 pm
August 21: First Day of School
September 12: First PTA meeting
September 14: Back to School Night

Welcome to all our new and returning GWMS families! The first day of school is just a week away, Monday, August 21st. The PTA Executive Committee is so excited for the year ahead, and ready to support our families, staff, teachers, and administrators.

WHAT IS PTA?
The George Washington Middle School PTA is our parent/family/teacher association that supports our school, builds community, provides opportunities for our children, communicates messages to our families, and so much more! When families are involved in their children’s education,  schools improve and kids perform better.

HOW CAN I JOIN?
PTA membership provides the opportunity for you to share your ideas, volunteer at events, and help make this school a great place to learn for all of our students. We invite our families, teachers and staff to join the PTA. Membership is annual, and $10 per membership. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us at [email protected].
