A note from Dr. Mazur: I’m overjoyed to announce the GWMS Teacher of the Year Nominee…None other than our dynamic Spanish Teacher, Educational Justice warrior, Ms. Ifeoluwa Osuntokun (Salako). Since, her arrival to our school, Ms. Osuntokun has made an impact that extends beyond Spanish Instruction. She is a deep thinker, an artist, a musician, a brilliant collaborator, and an ardent supporter of justice, equality, equity, and cultural knowledges that bridge and bind people together in the spirit of creating a more just place for all. I’m super proud of Ms. Osuntokun, and I know our community shares this sentiment. Ms. Osuntokun will be submitted to compete with teacher nominees from other ACPS schools for the ACPS Teacher of the Year award.
